! Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria

Here, we are mentioning the eligibility criteria for all courses:

  • Nationality: Students who are of Indian Nationality or OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) Card Holder or PIO (Persons of Indian Origin) are eligible to apply for AP EAMCET 2018.
  • Domicile Requirement: Students those belong to Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana must have the domicile.

For Engineering & Pharmacy courses:

  • Qualifying Exam: Students should pass in Intermediate or equivalent from any recognized board.
  • Subjects: Students must qualify the qualifying exam in the subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • Diploma Holder’s: Final year diploma holders can also apply.
  • Appearing candidates: Final year appearing students can also apply for the exam.

AP EAMCET 2018 Exam Pattern

  • Duration of the Exam: The exam is 3 hours.
  • No. of Questions: 160 questions will be asked.
  • Subjects: The subjects asked in the exam are Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • Type of questions: The question paper will be of Objective Type.
  • Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be awarded for each correct question.
  • Negative Marking: There is no negative marking.

! Previous Years Cut Off

AP EAMCET 2018 Cut-off

Now that the result of AP EAMCET 2018 are out, JNTU, Kakinada will release the cut-off of AP EAMCET 2018 online on its website for various streams. To take admission in various courses offered by Universities/Private colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh, candidates will have to meet the cut-off marks of AP EAMCET 2018.
AP EAMCET 2018 cut-off will contain the minimum marks that candidates must score in the entrance exam. Candidates who successfully meet the minimum cut-off of AP EAMCET 2018, their names will appear in the AP EAMCET 2018 merit list and they will be invited for AP EAMCET 2018 counselling afterwards.

JNTU, Kakinada has released the results of AP EAMCET 2018 on 2nd May, 2018. AP EAMCET 2018 results are available in online mode for all the appeared candidates. By visiting the official website of JNTU, Kakinada, and entering their Registration number and Date of Birth, candidates can access their AP EAMCET scorecard 2018.
Conducted on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), AP EAMCET 2018 is a gateway for admission in Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Courses. To get admission in a variety of courses, candidates have to qualify the entrance exam. The scorecard of AP EAMCET 2018 will have the qualifying status, rank and total marks secured by the candidate in the exam. Based on the results of AP EAMCET 2018, a merit list will be prepared that will display the list of shortlisted candidates for AP EAMCET Counselling 2018.

! Counselling Process

AP EAMCET 2018 Counselling Process

The AP EAMCET 2018 mock counselling has begun with AP EAMCET 2018 Results already out. Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has started the AP EAMCET 2018 counselling process from 28th May. The counselling and seat allotment procedure is done on the basis of the merit and preference of the candidates.

The process is completely web-based with a motive to encourage paperless technology. The counselling process will be for the pharmacy and engineering institutions of the state. In order to participate in the AP EAMCET 2018 counselling, qualified candidates have to pay the counselling fees online and submit their documents for verification.

Step-wise AP EAMCET 2018 Counselling Process

Step 1: Registration

  • For AP EAMCET 2018, qualified candidates must report to any one of the Help Line Centers, according to the prescribed schedule, along with the AP EAMCET 2018 counselling fee.

  • There will be a counselling fee of INR 1200 (For OC/BC) and INR 600 (For SC/ST). The counselling fee of AP EAMCET 2018 can be paid only through online mode via Debit card/ Credit card/ NetBanking.

Step 2: Verification of Certificates

The next step after registration is the verification of the certificates. Candidates need to submit their certificates and registration-cum-verification-form to the verification officer. It is advisable to verify all the details printed on receipt of certificates and affix the Signature and collect the same from the Chief Verification Officer.

Step 3: Choice Filling

Candidates will have to fill the choice of their courses/colleges according to their preferences after the document verification process is over. To proceed further, candidates will have to enter their choices online by visiting the official website and logging into their account. After filling the preferred choices, candidates will have to lock their filled choices and take a print copy of it for further use.

Step 4: AP EAMCET  Seat Allotment 2018

The allotment of the seats will be done by the admission authority of AP EAMCET 2018 on the basis of candidate’s category, merit gender, local area, and special reservation category, etc. For seat allotment purposes, candidates will have to download their allotment by logging into their account.

Step 5: Reporting at the Allotted Centre

After the seat allotment procedure is over, qualified candidates will have to report to the allotted center for seat confirmation. It must be noted that if any candidate fails to report at the allotted center, then his/her seat will be cancelled and he/she will have no claim for further allotment of seats.

  • Candidates with incomplete documents will have to attend certificate verification at the nearest Help Line Centre (HLC). Once the verification process is over, candidates need to go on for option entry.

  • In case there are corrections to be made in the details of the documents entered, candidates can visit the HLC and the changes will be done. Once the verification process is over, no changes shall be entertained by the concerned authority.

Documents Required at the Time of Verification/Admission

At the time of certificate verification and admission, candidates must bring the following documents (in original) and 2 sets of photocopies.

  • 10th class mark sheet and passing certificate

  • AP EAMCET rank card 2018

  • Intermediate or equivalent exam mark sheet and passing certificate

  • AP EAMCET hall ticket 2018

  • Income certificate

  • Aadhaar card

  • Study/Bonafide Certificate from class III to X and Intermediate (10+2)

  • PH/NCC/CAP/Sports Certificates (if applicable)

  • Caste certificate (if belong to any reserved category)

  • Transfer certificate

  • Receipt of certificates at Help-line Centres after verification.

  • Residence certificate of either of the parents

AP EAMCET Admit Card 2018

AP EAMCET 2018 admit card has been released on 18th April, 2018 by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada. Only those have successfully registered for the exam would be able to access their AP EAMCET 2018 admit cards. The admit card of AP EAMCET 2018 is available in online mode and it displays information such as the candidate's name, roll number, exam date, time and venue of AP EAMCET 2018 along with important instructions.
To download the admit card, candidates have to enter their Registration Number and Date of Birth. While downloading the admit card, candidates must carefully cross-check all the details mentioned in it. Aspirants must keep the print out of the admit card safe until the completion of the admission process. Additionally, on the day of the exam, candidates must carry a valid ID proof along with the AP EAMCET 2018 admit card.
