! Introduction
AP ICET (Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test) is organized at the state level, which is an entrance offering admission to various universities and its affiliated colleges in MBA and MCA Programmes. This test is conducted by Andhra University on the behalf of APSCHE, Hyderabad. AP ICET is the gateway through which candidates can get admission into MBA & MCA programme. Here, all details related to AP ICET 2019 is given below.

On behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE), Sri Venkateswara University conducts AP ICET (Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test) every year. AP ICET is a joint entrance exam for MBA and MCA courses. Similarly, AP ICET score is acceptable for the admission to second-year MCA course (Lateral Entry). All the colleges in Andhra Pradesh that offer MBA and MCA courses consider AP ICET score for the admission. The AP ICET 2019 official notification will be out in March 2019. ! Eligibility Criteria

AP ICET 2019 Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality and Domicile Rules: The applicants of AP ICET 2019 must note that they should be the citizens of India and must satisfy local/ non-local status requirements of Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions Order 1974. The applicants must be the residents of Andhra Pradesh / Telangana to be eligible for the admission under state quota. Other state students can take admission in MBA colleges under management quota.
Educational Qualification for MBA Course: The applicants must have passed the UG degree course in any recognised university or institute. The candidates must have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects at Class 10 level.
Minimum Qualifying Marks: Candidates must have scored at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) in UG level so that they will be considered eligible for the entrance test.

! Exam Pattern

AP ICET 2019 entrance test is designed to test the candidate’s ability to think systematically, to use the mathematical and verbal skills and to access his/ her aptitude for admission into MBA/ MCA course. AP ICET 2019 will have 200 questions and each question carries one mark. There is no negative marking in AP ICET 2019. ! Application Process
The applicants need to follow the below-mentioned steps to submit AP ICET 2019 online application form.
Fee Payment: Before starting the online application filling process, the candidates must pay the application fee of Rs. 550. The application fee can be paid online by using credit card/ debit card/ net banking. After the fee payment, the candidates will receive Payment ID. It is mandatory to note Payment ID.
Candidates can also visit the nearest AP Online Centre to pay AP ICET 2019 application fee. Candidates can provide the hall ticket number of qualifying exam, name and mobile number at AP Online centre to make fee payment. After fee payment, AP Online Centre will issue a payment receipt that will have Payment ID.
Check Payment Status: It is mandatory to check the payment status on the official website of AP ICET before stating online form filling.
Fill Application: Candidates should visit the official website of AP ICET to fill the online application form. The online application form link will be active on the official website. Click on the application form link. Enter Payment ID so that online application form will open. Once the online application form is open, fill all the details carefully, choose the exam district and submit.
Print Application Form: After the successful submission of AP ICET 2019 application form, take the printout of the same. Keep the printout of application form for further reference.


! Admit Card
AP ICET 2019 admit card will be available at least one week before the date of examination. AP ICET admit card can be downloaded from the official website. Click on the relevant link on the official website to download the admit card. Entrance the details such as Application Number and Date of Birth to download the admit card. Take the printout of admit card. Crosscheck all the details printed on the admit card.
AP ICET admit card 2019 will have personal details of the candidates, hall ticket number, date and time of examination and instructions. It is mandatory to carry the admit card to the exam centre.


! Previous Year Cut Off

Candidates can check the category-wise AP ICET 2018 cut-off below: -

  • Candidates belonging to General Category should score at least 25% of marks (50 out of 200) to qualify AP ICET 2019.
  • There is no minimum qualifying mark in AP ICET 2019 for reserved category candidates.

! Selection Procedure

The examination authority will follow the following method to selected the candidates for the MBA course: -

  • The selection of the candidates is purely based on merit, i.e., Rank and Score secured by the candidates in AP ICET 2019 examination.
  • The exam authority will conduct rank wise certificate verification and seat allocation process.
  • Once the certificate verification process is done, candidates need to exercise the web options on the official website.
  • The allocation of the seat will be based on the AP ICET 2019 rank and score secured by the candidates, web options (college preferences), reservation policy and vacant seats in the preferred college.
  • After the seat allocation, the candidates must report to college and pay the course fee.
